 Good morning to all our dear friends of Hotel Elios in Bellaria- Igea Marina!
 
Today we wish to share with you the good news concerning our sea. For the eleventh consecutive year, Bellaria-Igea Marina was awarded the Blue Flag for a clean beach! 

The recognition was assigned on 3rd May 2019 in Rome by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), as the city continues to comply with specific criteria established by the NGO. These include the excellent quality of our sea, beach services, hotel accommodation, environmental education, recycling, pedestrian areas and cycle paths.

Moreover, we must not forget that this recognition has an international value!

In fact, the Blue Flag has been awarded since 1987 with the participation of two agencies of the UN, UNEP (United Nations Environment Program) and UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization).



In short, thanks to its clear seabed and its golden beach where children can play and practice sports, Bellaria-Igea Marina is reconfirmed this year, all over the world, as the ideal destination for family holidays! 

In addition to the Blue Flag, for this 2019 Bellaria-Igea Marina has also received the Green Flag recognition from Italian paediatricians, who have confirmed its beaches as the ideal place for children.

In fact, Bellaria-Igea Marina enjoys sandy beaches perfect to build castles, shallow waters to play in total safety, the presence of lifeguards and rescue services, play areas, as well as ice cream parlours, clubs and restaurants to satisfy every child’s need.
