Easter holiday 2019 at Hotel Elios in Bellaria-Igea Marina
Hello, dear friends of Hotel Elios!
The Easter period has come to an end this year too and we hope with all our heart that you have spent your holidays full of joy and serenity!
Are you curious to know how our Easter weekend went here in Bellaria Igea Marina? We look forward to sharing with you all the good times we experienced together here at the Hotel Elios!
First of all, we are happy to inform you that, although the weather conditions in Romagna were quite variable, we still managed to respect the program we set ourselves.
Our Easter celebrations began on Saturday, April 20th, with an elegant gala dinner followed by a pleasant surprise under the stars ... the launch of the colourful Chinese lanterns on the beach of Igea Marina!
On this pre-Easter evening each of us expressed a wish and, watching the lanterns rise in the sky, we hoped that they soon could be realized. It is with this magical atmosphere that we awaited the arrival of the Holy Easter together!
Thus, on Easter Sunday we woke up with enthusiasm and with great hope. The sun was high in the sky and many of our guests spent the morning sunbathing in our private beach!
We later sat all together on our terrace overlooking the Adriatic Sea and enjoyed an aperitif (or maybe two) in the sun!
We then celebrated with a traditional lunch in our restaurant, full of delicious typical Romagna dishes, overlooking the sea and with the opening of the giant chocolate egg! A real Easter spent with the big family of Hotel Elios!
We then concluded our Easter holidays on Easter Monday with a little relaxation and a special activity … A cooking school lesson in the afternoon, where we learned the recipe of the typical piadina from Romagna and we had fun preparing it all together!
At the end of this Easter holiday, we can say that we have embarked on a wonderful journey to discover the traditions of our territory, the flavours of our cuisine and the typical Romagna hospitality!
